Live from the campus of Hillsdale College in beautiful Hillsdale Michigan, this is Scot Bertram in for Steve on the Steve Gruber Show for Thursday October 24th 2019.

Here are 3 big things you need to know:

Three—The Washington Nationals do it again. The Nats claimed a 12-3 victory last night in Game 2 of the World Series that sends them back to the nation’s capital with a commanding 2-0 lead. Can the Astros mount a comeback? Don't count out that uber-talented team.

Two—Ford Motor Co.'s third-quarter net income tumbled nearly 60% as the company booked $1.5 billion in charges mainly for restructuring, and Chinese and U.S. sales fell. One big problem? Sales of the highly profitable Explorer were down 48% for the quarter as quality problems forced the company to hold shipments to dealers.

And number one—Chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee Rep. Maxine Waters tried to rake Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg over the coals for the way Facebook has decided to handle political ads. Zuckerberg, however, doubled down and went to bat for freedom of speech. You might be proud of the way he handled himself.
