Michigan Will Allow Recreational Pot Sales In December
WILX.com reports that changes have been made to Michigan's policies regarding the sales of recreational marijuana, approved last year by Michigan voters.
According to the report, the Marijuana Regulatory Agency made policy changes that will allow medical marijuana facilities in the state to use approved medicinal product for recreational sales. The changes will allow licensed recreational facilities to begin selling product as early as December 1. Prior to the policy changes, it was expected that recreational sales would not begin until March or April 2020 as product designated for recreational sales went through the harvesting, processing and approval processes.
The policy change states that dispensaries will be able to transfer half of their medicinal product to recreational retail offerings, as long as the product has been inventoried for at least 30 days,
