WILX.com reports that Ford Motor Company is issuing a recall on its best selling model.

Ford is recalling 168,000 of its 2019 and 2020 F-150 pick-up trucks. According to the report, an improperly secured part may cause issues with steering assist, braking, and instrument panel displays. There is also the possibility of engine stalls and fires.

In the report, Ford says it has not been made aware of any accidents or injuries related to the malfunction. Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by dealers beginning next week. Owners should then report to a dealer to have the truck's battery cables inspected.
