Obama: ISIS ‘is a Manageable Problem’???

The former leader of the free world Barack Obama (he has clearly surrendered the title to the UK’s David Cameron) is so utterly lost by his own inability to lead it seems he cannot even deliver a coherent message on how to deal with the savages of Islamic State. Bloodthirsty refugees of the 7^th century that have brutally beheaded two American journalists in the past two weeks.

Today while talking to reporters during his European swing he contradicted his own statements several times in just a few minutes. Obama spoke in platitudes and generalities but failed to outline any actual strategy- still!

“The bottom line is this”, he began “our objective is clear and that is to degrade and destroy Islamic State so it is no longer a threat not just to Iraq but also the region and to the United States.”

Minutes later he seemed to adjust his plan and his comments.

“Our objective is to make sure they aren’t an ongoing threat to the region,” he was beginning to ramble at this point. The same old tired lines not even working for him it seems. He went on, “As we’ve seen with al-Qaeda, there are always going to be remnants that can cause havoc of any of these networks, in part because of the nature of terrorist activities. You get a few individuals, and they may be able to carry out a terrorist act.”

Moments later he was trying to find any piece of solid ground to stand on and pivoted to say we must “shrink ISIS's sphere of influence, its effectiveness, its military capability to the point where it is a manageable problem.”

Yeah I mean if a just a few teenaged bomb strapped Islamic State zombies wander into American coffee shops and blow themselves up that should be manageable right? If IS is able to detonate just one or two small nuclear weapons they obtain on the black market that is surely manageable right? I mean a few dozen dead here and a murdering remnant over there… no big deal. ‘It is a manageable problem’.

A manageable problem??? Did he really say a manageable problem? I am just hoping for you and I and our kids that Obama will be a manageable problem for the next couple of years without destroying America along the way.
