Michigan State Officials Will Be Testing Alert System Today
Welcome back Michigan State students! As classes get underway there might be a few things you still need to do...last minute book purchases, buying that parking pass, figuring out where your class is...it's a lot. However, there is still an important thing that you might want to take a few minutes to do and that's sign up for alerts from the Michigan State Alert system. Why? Well, because Michigan State University faculty, staff, registered students and those who subscribe to the system are automatically added as a recipient of the message system and will receive important information in case of a threat or an emergency.
According to their Facebook page, the Michigan State University Police Department will be testing the MSU Alert system today, Wednesday, August 28th. You can find out more about the MSU Alert system by going to alert.msu.edu. You might also want to follow the Michigan State University Police Department on Facebook by clicking here.
Stay safe and have a great year!
