Lansing Street Closures For Common Ground Begin Monday

WILX.com reports that several streets in Downtown Lansing will have lane closures, or total closures beginning Monday, June 24 as crews get ready for Common Ground Music Festival.

Starting at 7:00 AM Monday, Grand Avenue will be closed between Shiawassee Street and Saginaw Street. Shiawassee Street will also be closed between Grand Avenue and Cedar Street, though, one lane will be open for Northbound Grand Avenue travelers to reach Cedar Street.

Lanes will be closed on Saginaw Street between Washington Avenue and Grand Avenue and Grand Avenue between Ionia Street and Shiawassee Street.

As is commonplace for Common Ground, access to the Lansing Community College parking ramp on Grand Avenue is limited to Saginaw Street, by way of one lane southbound on Grand Avenue.
