Lawyers for former Michigan State University football recruiting director Curtis Blackwell have filed allegations that MSU committed an NCAA violation when Blackwell was part of a 2015 in-home visit for a potential recruit.

Notre Dame player Daelin Hayes's mother says in an affidavit that Blackwell was present during former head coach Mark Dantonio's in-home visit back in 2015, which could be an NCAA violation because Blackwell was not an official assistant coach on staff.  Dantonio said at a deposition earlier this month that Blackwell never was present for in-home recruit visits.

An MSU spokesperson says that the school is looking into the allegation.  Blackwell is suing MSU, former head coach Mark Dantonio, former athletic director Mark Hollis, and former school president LouAnna Simon for wrongful termination three years ago.
