A New Jersey judge just ruled that women can block fathers from being in the delivery room.

The judge stated “It’s well established under federal and state law that there is a privacy right when a woman’s in labor.”

In this decision it is believed to be the first time a father was told he did not have the right to know when his child was born.

Jeff Golden of Fathers & Children’s Equality says, “It’s a sad day for fathers, and for father’s and men’s rights.”

Do you believe a woman can block the father from being in the delivery room, is this fair, if the father is not allowed to be in the delivery room if he chooses should he be financial responsible for the child?
