Amtrak Train Collides with Vehicle

It was late last night in Oakland County and an Amtrak train was passing through. It was then it hit a truck that was on the tracks. The Sheriff's Department says those who saw what happened say the crossing gate was down and everything was working as it should. The lights were flashing and the bells were ringing. They allege the driver of the truck tried to go around the gate.  It was then the train collided with it.  A 19 year old man was behind the wheel and he was taken to a nearby hospital and was listed in stable condition. No one on board the train was hurt. It took about three hours before it was on its way again.
