It's a busy day today for AAA Michigan. They're dispatching tow trucks to help those who've had a wide range of vehicle problems. Plenty of cars and trucks in ditches or off to the side of the road due to slippery conditions. Temps are quite cold and the wind chill is making things even worse. Quite a few have also been unable to go anywhere because their batteries stopped working. As a result officials at AAA say they've been swamped with hundreds of calls. Additional crews have been called in to take them. In some parts of the state a foot of fresh snow has come down.
