The Bitter Michigan Spring
It seems like we went through this last year. We enjoyed a burst of mile weather long enough to spoil us like winter was ready to retire only to have it plunge deep into the teens and colder and stay there. The forecast isn’t that forgiving in the long run either.
We may see a day or two where the mercury heads toward fifty but then sinks back into the teens.
Washington DC and it’s famed Cherry Blossoms have already paid the price. Temperatures in the low 20’s have put a quick end to any peak bloom this winter. This is the first time in a century the spectacular flowers have been squelched by Mother Nature’s foul mood.
Now the question is if the long cold spring we experienced the past couple of years is back again.
