If you have any outdoor plans for tonight such as heading to a high school football game, or heading to East Lansing for the Michigan State homecoming parade, you'll want to keep an eye on the radar. According to the National Weather Service, scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and especially tonight for the Lansing area. The National Weather Service says that locally heavy rainfall of up to two inches tonight could lead to some minor flooding. Keep in mind that there's also a marginal risk of some severe weather tonight. The biggest threat with the storms (if we get them) is some large hail. We could also have some wind gusts around 30 mph.
