Family Video on Waverly is Closing

I just became a member of Family Video last month. Not this location thank God. Another Facebook friend posted about it.

Family Video on Waverly in Landing is closing and they have their movies discounted to sell!! The employees have relocated to other stores...I am happy for them...but all good things must come to an end!!! Wow!!! What a shocker!!!

Not long ago, the Family Video stores made waves by carrying CBD products. CBC and DVD makes sense to me but apparently it couldn't save this location.

It's only a matter of time before a video store becomes a phone booth. Something people stand with for selfies. I loved the video rental era. Going and touching the boxes, reading the boxes and speaking with other humans.

We used to rent a VCR and 3 movies from Keg N' Cork in Fowlerville for 10 bucks when we were kids. A lot of great memories replaced by easier technology.
