Steve Gruber has been a voice of common sense and reason from the time he first opened the mic in 1985 at WFMK in Lansing, Michigan. Steve has travelled tens of thousands of miles since that day pursuing hard news along with the most colorful personalities he could find. Spending nearly 15 years working as a television news anchor and investigative reporter he was able to hone his craft. His message connects with people from all backgrounds. The last three years in front of the news camera he worked for NBC at WCMH in Columbus, Ohio where his investigative reports were regularly featured on CNBC and NBC News Channel. More recently Steve returned to his radio roots. The Steve Gruber Show launched on four stations in early 2012. The program now has 20 affiliates delivering his voice and his unique perspective each morning from 6 to 9am. The Michigan Association of Broadcasters has named the Steve Gruber Show The Best Network Morning Show four times so far including the past 2 years in a row. Steve has interviewed President Donald Trump on the program along with many other notable newsmakers including: Vice President Mike Pence, Senator Rand Paul, Florida Governor Rick Scott, Ann Coulter, Senator Marco Rubio, Steve Forbes, Michigan Governor Rick Snyder, Charlie Daniels and many more. The growing success of the program and the strength of his voice attracted attention and Steve has now become a regular contributor to the BBC on several of its worldwide networks both on radio and television, National Public Radio. Steve has also been featured on Fox Business, HLN and numerous other outlets. His writing has also been featured in the pages of the Washington Times as well as several prominent websites and magazines. Over the past 25 years Steve has been a successful businessman as well. Steve founded and launched Wolf Creek in 1994, one of the nations most notable and successful outdoor adventure programming companies. While guiding the company he created several iconic outdoor brands including the longest running television series on The Outdoor Channel, Outdoor America where he is the longest running host on the network. In fact Steve owns several thriving businesses today with his wife and Executive Producer Ivey. Together they have focused their considerable energy and talents into growing the successful brands. Steve has lived in many states but he has always returned to Michigan. His family and his Midwest roots always draw him home. Wanderlust however needs to be fed often so you never know where the next adventure may take him and Ivey but you can be sure they will regale you with the tales someday soon. Stay tuned. There is always more to come.
