The East Lansing Art Festival Goes Virtual
Due to the time we are living in and most things have gotten postponed or cancelled, the East Lansing Art Festival is still going to happen, except it will be online. According to WILX, the organizers of the 57 year old festival are working on bringing all of the art and performances to the our area even if we can't see it live on the streets of East Lansing.
Starting this week and running through May 16th the festival will be offering different exhibits and art work on their website. The East Lansing Art Festival website right now has been updated to give out information on exhibiting artists. The website will also give you an opportunity to support all of the artists whether that means through donation or through buying their art work. On May 16th, which would have been the day the festival was going to happen, they will host a day of livestreaming tons of offerings like: musical performances, artist demonstrations, at-home demonstrations for kids, and also award announcements art on their Facebook page
You can see more and also follow the festival on Facebook.
