Tequila Cowboy To Close
It is reported that Tequila Cowboy Bar & Grill in the Lansing Mall will close.
Tequila Cowboy, which opened in the Lansing Mall in November 2015, billed itself as "Bringing Music City to Your City" and over the last couple years saw some big acts take the stage there.
Joe Nichols, Jerrod Niemann, LOCASH, The Swon Brothers and more made stops at Tequila Cowboy Lansing. The establishment was also the host to a couple of "Wittle Country Christmas Party" events featuring Kip Moore, Morgan Wallen, Granger Smith and Jordan Davis.
The space in the mall was originally to be a Toby Keith's "I Love This Bar & Grill" but as plans never came to pass for that business, Tequila Cowboy's parent company came in and made the space what we know it as today.
Tequila Cowboy also has locations in Nashville, Tennessee, Columbus, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Here's a look at my friend and Tequila Cowboy's talented DJ, JD Larner's ("DJ JD") Facebook post regarding the closing:
The final day of operation for Tequila Cowboy is expected to be Tuesday, April 2.
