MSU @ U-M Basketball Postponed Due To COVID-19
Saturday afternoon's Michigan State at Michigan men's basketball was postponed early Saturday morning due to multiple COVID-19 cases on Michigan's team. It was scheduled to tip off at 2:30pm eastern time at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor.
Michigan was without four players and a basketball staffer when the team lost to Rutgers 75-67 on the road earlier this week. MSU defeated Nebraska 79-67 back on Wednesday at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
Both schools will work with the Big Ten Conference to reschedule this game at a later date. The only other scheduled game between the two teams is on January 29th at the Breslin Center in East Lansing.
The Spartans (13-2 overall, 4-0 in the Big Ten) are next scheduled to play Minnesota at the Breslin Center on Wednesday night. Michigan (7-6 overall, 1-2 in the Big Ten) is next scheduled to play Purdue at the Crisler Center in Ann Arbor next Tuesday night.
