There's a kind of pride that comes with getting that perfect shot, right? Perhaps you'll share it on Instagram. Maybe you'll keep it for your own personal collection. Heck, you may even sell it online.

And snagging that perfect photo seems extra important when you're visiting a new town or a landmark, like the Mackinac Bridge.

When doing a search for the Mackinac Bridge, you may stumble across pictures like this:

A gorgeous shot on a sunny day straight down the bridge.

Truly, it's a breathtaking sight. But, how do you, someone who perhaps doesn't have a drone to fly up and capture this shot, take a picture like this? It's, surprisingly, more accessible than you may think.

Thanks to a Tiktok from the account @mi_playground, we now have step-by-step instructions of where to go to snag a fantastic picture of the Mackinac Bridge.

1. To get started on your quest of snagging the perfect Mackinac Bridge photo, you'll need to start at the Straights State Park in St. Ignace:

You will need a recreation passport to enter the park. You can either purchase the passport when you renew your vehicle license plates at the Secretary of State office ($12) or purchase it at the park ($17). Find more information here.

2. Upon entering the park you'll take the trail to the west of where you parked your car until you reach this trail marker:

On it, there's a full map pointing you towards 'The View of the Mackinac Bridge' which looks like this:

3. Once you reach that sign, follow the trail until you are met with this stunning view:

And that's it! Of course, the quality of the picture will depend on the type of camera you use and what the weather is like on the day that you visit.
