WLNS.com reports that the Ingham County Animal Shelter is dealing with overcrowding by drastically cutting its adoption fees.

Adoption fees for dogs are cut in half. Meanwhile, adoption fees for cats are being completely waived. There is still an application and approval process for potential adopters.

All animals are spayed or neutered, have received vaccines, and veterinary exams. If your home is at its pet capacity, officials are reminding residents that cash donations for the care of animals in the shelter are always welcome.
