When Harvey drown Houston and the Gulf Coast in as much as 50 inches of rain two weeks ago the damage estimates were placed as high as $200 Billion dollars. That remarkable figure is more than twice the cost of the damage done by Katrina in 2005. Now however with Irma taking aim at Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas Harvey may be the King of Misery for only a short time. There are predictions today that if Irma is a strong Category 4 when it comes ashore and continues to the north it could become the costliest storm in American history.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse. Oh and by the way Jose is on the way as well. The newest Atlantic Hurricane could end up coming our way in a week or so. We will keep you posted.
