WILX.com is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating reports of brake issues on General Motors made trucks and sport-utility vehicles.

According to the report, the agency has had more than 100 complaints about under-performing brakes on 2014 through 2016 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sterra trucks, Chevy Suburban and Tahoe models as well as GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade SUV's.

In total, the investigation surrounds an estimated 2.7 million vehicles. as of now, there is no recall on the models.
