MSP Looking For Suspects Who Shot At Cars On US-131
Driving on Michigan roads is already dangerous. You have to dodge potholes, deer, distracted drivers, and of course everything that Mother Nature throws your way.
But two drivers on US-131 near Grand Rapids had to deal with something even scarier - getting shot at!
Where Were The Cars Shot?
The Michigan State Police said that the two shootings were reported late Saturday night.
One shooting took place near US-131 and 44th Street.
The other shooting happened near US-131 and 76th Street.
Was Anyone Hurt?
One person told the police they were shot in the shoulder, while the other person wasn't hit but their back window was shot out.
What Kind Of Gun Was Used?
Detectives believe the gun that was used in the two shootings was a BB or pellet gun, based on evidence from the scene and the reported injuries.
Police Are Looking For A Jeep
The Michigan State Police Department are looking for a dark-colored, possibly black Jeep Grand Cherokee, which they believe the suspect was driving when shots were fired. This is what the vehicle might look like.
