It's DJ Kahlid that says "we the best", well the city of Okemos just got labeled one of the best to live in the entire state of Michigan.

What Makes Okemos So Special?

The city of Okemos is nestled right next to Michigan State University. The city offers a variety of different activities, especially those targeted to the youth in the area. Making it an attractive spot for new families.

Side note too, as he didn't make Okemos the best place to live, but comedian Seth Meyers is actually from the city of Okemos, attending Okemos elementary schools.

Okemos, is honestly one of my favorite spots to head to here in Mid-Michigan. They offer a variety of different shops and restaurants around the area, that you can still check out without hitting the insane traffic on MSU's campus.

I'm sure we can also all agree, we are glad the construction that plagued Okemos for the longest of time is finally wrapped up.
