5,000 people are expected at tonight's event.

President Donald Trump is scheduled to make a quick stop at the MBS International Airport in Freeland tonight at 7 PM at the Avflight Saginaw hangar. It's his first rally in the state this election year. He won the state by a little more than 10,000 votes in 2016 and was the first Republican to win Saginaw County since 1984.

MBS Airport Manager James Canders told MLive that they're expecting up to 5,000 people at the rally tonight. The actual space can only hold 1,700 people, but attendees will be allowed to congregate outside as well.

The Trump campaign is warning attendees of possibly COVID-19 exposure.

Doors to the event open at 4 PM. You can register for tickets by clicking HERE.
