This Indiana Town is Enticing People to Move There By Promising ‘Grandparents on Demand’
A town in southwestern Indiana is looking for new residents, and they're enticing remote workers to relocate there by offering to pay them and promising 'grandparents on demand'.
The town of Greensburg, Ind. has teamed up with MakeMyMove.com to bring new residents to the area. In all, you could receive $7,000 in cash and other incentives if you relocate to Greensburg.
The entire relocation package includes $5,000 for moving expenses, free one-year membership to the YMCA, gift cards to the local farmers market, tickets to shows at the local playhouse, and more. If you move there, you'll even get a "concierge team" to help you acclimate to your new town.

As for those "Grandparents on Demand" - they're local resident Tami and her husband. Tami is a part of the Decatur County Community Foundation while her husband works for the local schools as a bus driver. They'll help out with childcare, attending school events, and other grandparent-ly duties.
What does Greensburg, Indiana have to offer?
The town, located between Indianapolis and Cincinnati, boasts top schools, its own hospital, an airport, and the "famous Courthouse Tower Tree". The "Tower Tree" refers to the trees that grow from the roof of the courthouse tower, according to Visit Greensburg.
The town seems small and quaint, but it's not that small. Greensburg had a population of just under 11,500 people as of the 2010 census.
