Once again a small set of Michigan businesses got screwed again by Governor Whitmer and her baseless attacks on gyms, theaters, bowling alleys, yoga studios, dance studios, and ice rinks. Yeah. She’s still thinking about it and pretending it has something to do with science.
The Michigan High School Athletic Association has once again set it sights on playing football this year after all. So will the boys hit the gridiron and toss the pigskin before the snow falls in 2020. Well we will have to wait and see, but remember Governor Whitmer will not be intimidated.
29% of Michigan residents have now been tested for Covid 19. Yet the states approach to how and when things will reopen remains completely unclear. That’s because the pseudoscience and games behind closed doors keep everyone guessing. Meanwhile theaters, gyms, and similar facilities like dance studios and yoga centers remain closed. So do bowling alleys and many restaurants unable to operate under such strict capacity limits are either closed permanently or temporarily.
Covid cases are on the rise in Michigan once again, in fact they have continued to increase despite ongoing mask mandates and other rules that keep businesses like gyms closed for the most part. Well except mine.
The state closed out last week by imposing thousands of dollars in fines against a half dozen businesses. They are accused by state investigators of failing to protect employees from the virus. And the state does not plan to stop there.
