Reward Offered for Info on 10 Fires in Genesee Forest Estates

In the last week, there have been 10 fires in Genesee Forest Estate mobile home park. Now, residents are looking for answers and information.

With so many fires and several attempted break-ins, residents have taken to patrol the area themselves. Currently, the Michigan State Police are investigating at least six of the fires that were set intentionally at Genesee Forest Estate. The Flint Fire Department and the Flint Police Department are also investigating the fires.

So far only one person has been arrested and has since been released. Management at Genesee Forest Estate has also added security to try and keep these things from happening.

Flint Police are looking for other leads and are offering up to $5,000 in reward money for information leading to an arrest. If you have any information, you are urged to call the arson reward tip line at 1-800-442-7766. Tips can be left anonymously as well.
