Lansing-area veterans and National Guard/Reserve members are about to get care packages from the Michigan Veterans Affairs Agency.

Operation Veteran Care Package 2020 will be distributed Saturday as a symbol of thanks and support during the pandemic. Supplies are limited and you can get registered and get more information on the event by clicking here. You must be a veteran or National Guard/Reserve. You will need your proof of service.

The care packages are valued at 30 bucks and feature hand written notes of thanks from citizens across America. It is intended to help lift the spirits and curb suicides of veterans.
