Lansing Lugnuts Baseball has been a Lansing tradition for twenty-five years now, and they just recently revamped their logo.

We've got their new logo below:

"From our initial announcement and groundbreaking in 1995 to today, celebrating 25 years of bringing baseball to downtown Lansing is an incredible accomplishment. I'm thrilled to relive some of our greatest memories with our fans and hope that the community will share some of their own at our ballpark this summer," Lugnuts owner Tod Dickerson said. "Releasing the logo today is just the start of what will be an exciting and memorable season for our fans and the Lansing community."

Since this is the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Lugnuts being in the capital city, they will be throwing it back to the first game played at the stadium, according to MiLB. The first game that was played in the stadium was Michigan State against Michigan back on April 3rd of 1996.

The Spartans and Wolverines will go head to head on April 14th, followed by opening day on April 16th when the Lugnuts take on the Dayton Dragons.

The Lugnuts have won two Midwest League championships. They have also hosted four Midwest League All-Star Games, according to MiLB. They've also produced 149 Major Leaguers, with over 300,000 fans per season.

The Lugnuts even hold the MiLB record for attendance at the inaugural season with 538,325 people.

I'm sure you already know this, but The Game 730 AM is the flagship station of the Lansing Lugnuts. The promotional season schedule will be released on February 6th.
