Hillsdale Man Attacked By Son

On Thursday, a 75-year-old Hillsdale man was attacked by his son with a blade, according to WILX.

The victim was able to escape, and head to his neighbor's house where he was able to call 911.

Suffering from serious injuries, the man was transported to the Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN.

The assault took place on Hayward Street in Montgomery, and the Michigan State Police Jackson post is currently investigation the assault.

When police arrived to the scene, the 29-year-old suspect was still in the house, where he was later taken into custody. He is currently in the Hillsdale county jail, where he is charged with Assault with Intent to Murder.
