Something spooky is headed our way this month here in Lansing. This Halloween event will be called FrankenFest.

Frankenfest will be held at the Turner-Dodge House, here in Lansing. The Dodge House was originally built back in 1858 and is currently a museum, which also has expansive grounds to help host this event.

This event is coming rather quickly. July 10th to be exact. But, there are no worries, another event will be in Detroit later in September too if you can't make it to this one.

So, what is FrankenFest? FrankenFest is a contemporary fine art fair. You can expect to see 70 different artists, as well as vendors displaying things for sale. Most, if not all will have a ghoulish take to them too. Ceramics, jewelry, painting, illustrations, literary works, and more will be seen on display too.

“We are excited to host a celebration of mad, magical and mystical art and exhibits from the area’s most intriguing vendors! FrankenFest is designed to inspire and foster meaningful connections for all ages, while showcasing one of Lansing’s treasured landmarks.” From Robot Pumpkin, Jerry Jodloski said to WILX.

If you are interested in sponsoring the event, or have a food truck and want to be included in the event, you can do so! Unfortunately, the signup date for artists/vendors has passed, however, you can still enter your work for the Detroit show, which will be at the Historic Fort Wayne.

This event is free to attend, and you won't have to pay for parking either. Plus, along with food trucks, they will also have a cash bar.

FrankenFest will also be collecting donations for Make-A-Wish.
