Three former wrestlers at the University of Michigan are alleging publicly that former U-M doctor Robert Anderson sexually abused them dating back to the 1970s.

Tad DeLuca told the media on Thursday that the reason he (and others) have come forward now is because of the "courage" of the victims of former Michigan State University doctor Larry Nassar.

DeLuca also says that he approached then-wrestling coach Bill Johannesen and then-athletic director, the now-deceased Don Canham back in 1975 about Dr. Anderson.  DeLuca says he was ignored by both men and later dismissed from the wrestling squad.

In light of the recent allegations, U-M has created a hotline for information on Anderson.  Michigan has also opened an investigation into the allegations.

No lawsuits have been filed yet, but the alleged victims now have legal representation.
