During today's riot at the nation's Capitol building today, an explosive device was found.

Supporters of President Donald Trump had stormed the Capitol on Wednesday, which caused a pause in the process to confirm President-elect Joe Biden's win.

The explosive device found on Wednesday afternoon is said to no longer be a threat.

Loads of Pro-Trumpers had breached the perimeters at the Capitol with lawmakers still inside. Lawmakers were told to put on gas masks, as tear gas was released in the Rotunda, according to WILX.

So far, one person has been shot, and dozens of Trump supports had violent interactions with law enforcement.

Washington D.C.'s Mayor Muriel Bowser said that she believes that the actions of the Trump supporters today, was;

“...shameful, unpatriotic and above all is unlawful....There will be law and order and this behavior will not be tolerated.”
