A closing I was waiting for, because when does Disney ever close their doors to their theme parks. The answer is next to never, but if they do, you know it is serious.

This park has only closed a few handfull of times, and one of them included the 9/11 attacks, as well as the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

"While there have been no reported cases of COVID-19 at Disneyland Resort, after carefully reviewing the guidelines of the Governor of California's executive order and in the best interest of our guests and employees, we are proceeding with the closure of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, beginning the morning of March 14 through the end of the month," a spokesperson for Disneyland said in a release. "We will monitor the ongoing situation and follow the advice and guidance of federal and state officials and health agencies. Disney will continue to pay cast members during this time," the statement added.

Don't worry though, if you had bought a trip there, or happen to be there, the park will provide refunds until the closure period.

According to CNN, the flagship Disney theme park in Anaheim, California will be closing its doors due to the coronavirus outbreak. You can expect the park to remain closed from now until April.

"We will monitor the ongoing situation and follow the advice and guidance of federal and state officials and health agencies. Disney will continue to pay cast members during this time," a statment released by disney.

Disneyland closes its doors after the company's decision to shut down parks around the world, such as Shanghai and Hong Kong.
