With the coronavirus on it's vicious rampage, many things fall to the way side. What you might ask, well I am sure there are a ton of things, such as family gatherings, parties, and even trips to the store for the small items.

One thing comes to mind immediately for me is charitable giving. WIth the state of our economy so uncertain, charitable giving has been at a minimum. Charities rely on donations and volunteers to help make a difference.

A Ele foundation right here in my neck of the woods, Lansing, is Ele's Place. Ele's Place helps provide support for grieving children and their families for losses of loved ones. Their mission is to ensure no child grieves alone.

Every year about this time, they host a event to help raise funds and awareness. This year, they had to call and audible and work with what they had. So this year they are hosting the annual Ele’s Race 5K Run/Walk online.
