How Did We Miss This? American Bistro In Lansing is Closed? For Good?
We could have sworn it was open just the other day.
According to a friend of mine, American Bistro in the Eastwood Towne Center was indeed open this past weekend.
Sunday to be exact. They know because they were there. February 6th, 2022.
It's two days later and this is on the door.
Wait, exactly WHEN did this all go down?
We don't know and trying to track down an exact answer is proving to be challenging.
Thinking this had to have happened Monday because that's just logical and we find out today (Tuesday, February 8th) that it's closed.
For good?
Well according to Google...yeah.
Permanently even.
The American Bistro website as of Tuesday night was still operational and business as usual.
But you saw earlier what is on the front door right now.
Their Facebook says their page is unavailable. Ditto for their Instagram.
According to the sign on the front door, if you have gift cards they will be honored at One North Kitchen and Bar on W. Saginaw Hwy. until March 31st of 2022.
Headed to One North Kitchen and Bar on Facebook.
Plenty about their Valentine's Day special.
Even their outdoor igloos.
Nothing at all about American Bistro closing or them honoring their gift cards.
This is kind of becoming the norm. A lot of local businesses have been shutting down for good. Just recently Old Town Marquee.
Sadly, another Lansing business has closed its doors for the last time.
I was in Old Town Lansing over the weekend and saw a sight that made me tear up a bit; the Old Town Marquee in Old Town Lansing is permanently closed.

Deluca's and Leo's Outpost.
Deluca's was in business for 61 amazing years and we really appreciate what they did in the Greater Lansing area. Everyone loved Deluca's!
And Let's not forget about Leo's Outpost on South Pennsylvania Avenue. My entire family went to Leo's Outpost all the time for great food and drink specials.
