The weather for the Lansing area this week is going to be...interesting. A revised Winter Weather Advisory was issued early this morning from the National Weather Service. The new advisory is in effect for the Lansing area and beyond until 10am on Wednesday, January 16th. They say that we will see some freezing drizzle mixed at times with some light snow today and into Wednesday morning. We'll see about an inch of snow. However, the National Weather Service says that along with the light snow we could also see ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch.

**Keep in mind that there still is a chance for some heavier snow later this week. The National Weather Service says that "a significant snow event is possible late Friday night through Saturday.

Areas affected by the Winter Weather Advisory include Allegan; Barry; Calhoun; Clare; Clinton; Eaton; Gratiot; Ingham; Ionia; Isabella; Jackson; Kalamazoo; Kent; Lake; Mason; Mecosta; Montcalm; Muskegon; Newaygo; Oceana; Osceola; Ottawa; Van Buren
