The search continues for the owner of a severely starved Bull Mastiff found at Lansing’s Hawk Island Park Thursday Morning. Ingham County Animal Control officials found “Skinny Minnie” weighing in at just 42 pounds, nearly 100 pounds less than the typical Mastiff. Today, Minnie is recovering under the care of a veterinarian and a qualified foster family. ICAC initially offered a $500 reward for information leading to the conviction of those responsible for Minnie’s condition. That amount has increased thanks to donations from community volunteers. If you have any information, please contact ICAC at 517-676-8376.
