The Lansing State Journal says today's expected high ih the mid 60's is nearly 20 degrees below the normal temperatures recorded for this time of year and even more than that when compared to July 15, 2013.

In the Upper Peninsula, temps could be in the 50's today.

Highs this month have been below normal which is in sharp contrast to last year at this time when air conditions were running full speed to combat five straight days of 90-plus degree days.

The chill won't last long, though, Forecasters say it'll be back to the 80's for most parts of Michigan by next week.
