Case Against Alleged Killers of an EMU Football Player Moving Forward

(YPSILANTI)  Both suspects have now been charged with the death of an Eastern Michigan University student.  20 year old Kristopher Pratt is the latest to face charges in the shooting death of football player Demarius Reed back in October.  He was denied bond and is being held in the Washtenaw County jail.  Ed Thomas had previously been arraigned.   Officials believe Reed was shot several times in the stairwell of his Ypsilanti

apartment during a robbery.  The suspects are due back in court for a preliminary hearing next month. The hearing will determine whether there is enough evidence against the two to move the case to trial.
