Your vote does matter in Michigan; 39 votes out of 155,000 total passes tax
It was proven back in 2000 when President George W. Bush beat Al Gore by 537 votes in Florida that every vote matters.
Well it was just proven again in Macomb County Michigan on August 7th 2018.
A mere 39 votes made the difference in the Aug. 7 approval of a ballot proposal to keep public transportation in place in Macomb County
There were approximately 155,000 total votes on this transportation tax and it passed by a mere 39 votes.
So to any of you who believe that in a big election your vote may not mean much, you are wrong. Your vote does mean quite a bit in all elections because you never know what the final count will be until it is too late.
Go out and vote every time you are given the opportunity.
