Michelle Obama was giving a speech at a Women’s Foundation of Colorado fundraiser.  In that speech she bemoaned people that only saw her by her color.

Her direct quote is as follows:

Knowing that after eight years of working really hard for this country, there are still people who won’t see me for what I am because of my skin color

First we must understand that anyone who rises to the Presidency and that includes the spouse, is unfortunately always going to have cruel and unkind things said about them.  In fact in the past when the Democrats did not like what I said on air or my opinion they would not only said horrible things about me in their emails, they did not have the guts to call into the show, they would say even worse things about my children.

I understand her concern but I find it hard to except when it comes from someone who has proven over the years that she first judges white people by their color, and many would call that bigoted.

The definition of is a bigot is:

a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially :  one who regards or treats the members of a group (such as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance

Do you remember way back in 2008 before the Wisconsin primary in mid-February, Michelle Obama said the following at a rally:

For the first time in my adult life, I am really proud of my country because it feels like hope is finally making a comeback

Is it not fair that she is referring to white people?

All of us no matter what color you are have to stop seeing people as color’s and start judging people by the content of their character.
