It seems the snacks aren't safe lately here in Michigan, as another one is facing another recall here in the state of Michigan.

Warning: Popular Snack Recall Hitting Michigan

Lifestyle Evolution Inc. is recalling lots of NuGo Dark Chocolate Chip and NuGo Dark Chocolate Pretzel nutrition bars because of undeclared milk.

This recall was announced back in December 2024. It isn't a revised recall, but actually the same recall. The affected products distributed through retailers like Amazon, Costco, as well as online.

The recalled bars are individually wrapped and sold in 12- or 18-count multipack boxes, so there shouldn't be any concerns of buying anything singular off the shelves. Affected NuGo Chocolate Chip bars have item number 52101, while the NuGo Dark Pretzel bars are item number 52901. Key manufacturing codes and Best By dates include:

The is in result after 11 reports of allergic reactions from people who had previously bought the product. Testing confirmed milk in the product, which was not listed on the packaging. An investigation into the issue is continuing.
