Before you get ready to hand your kids any apple juice to start or end the day, you should check your fridge. There is a massive recall on juice that was sold here in the state of Michigan.

If you have head to any Walmart stores recently, you'll want to check that apple juice. The 64-ounce bottles of "Great Value 100% Apple Juice," sold at Walmart stores nationwide, just recently got recalled.

Nearly 9,500 cases of the Great Value brand of Apple Juice have been affected by this new recall. There was a recall that was originally introduced back in September of 2024, that expanded to 133,500 cases under various store names, such as Walmart and Aldi.

Here is a better look at the information on the following product recall that is hitting us here in the state of Michigan.

UPC Code: 0-78742-29655-5

The manufacturer of the products was Refresco Beverages US Inc.

The recall was initiated after the detection of very high arsenic levels by the FDA. Inorganic arsenic is considered a carcinogen and can lead to some serious health defects. Things like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, as well as an increase in cancer is all linked back to arsenic.

If you have any of the juice in your fridge, you are urged to dispose of it immediately. You can also return it to Walmart for a full refund as well.

If you notice and symptoms start up after consuming the apple juice, you are urged to seek medical attention promptly.
