Kirk Cousins is set to get paid when free agency opens in the NFL later this month, and there is no shortage of suitors for him. With that in mind the Minnesota Vikings have reportedly offered up a monstrous, record-breaking deal.

Let's repeat that to let it sink in. $91 million fully guaranteed.

For reference, Matthew Stafford holds the record for fully guaranteed money at $60.5 million. That number was for a five-year contract that paid him an average of $27 million a year. If Cousins signs this reported three year offer, just on guaranteed money alone he would be at an average of $30.3 million a year. That would be an NFL record.

Cousins spent the last three years as the starting QB in Washington DC averaging over 4,000 yards a season in that window. His QB record in that same time is 24-23-1.

The NFL's new league year, and the free agency period begins March 14.
