Your commute on US-127 may once again take some extra time beginning next week. LSJ.com is reporting that The Michigan Department of Transportation is scheduled to resume work on the sound barrier project between Lake Lansing Road and Grand River Avenue. The project has been delayed since July to supply shortages.

According to MDOT's website, shoulder closures will prompt slower speed limits. But, no lane closures are specified.
