A lot of you will be hitting the road for the 4th of July holiday. We've already told you that according to AAA, you should leave on the 2nd as the 3rd will be THE WORST DAY to be on the road.

But if you are headed up north, here's a list of places where you can watch a decent fireworks show (if you're not doing your own).

BEST 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS (Credit: MyNorth)

First Place: Traverse City
Hosted by the TC Boom Boom Club, Traverse City’s 4th of July fireworks are part of the Cherry Festival. The display begins at 10:30 p.m.

Second Place: Frankfort/Elberta
The Frankfort/ Elberta fireworks are hosted by the Frankfort Elberta Chamber of Commerce on July 4 around 10:30 p.m. During the day, check out the carnival and parade at 10 a.m.

Third Place: Northport
Northport fireworks are hosted by the Northport Chamber of Commerce on July 4 starting at 8 p.m. Kids games and bounce house starts at noon and there’s live music at 5 p.m.
