More cancellations because of the times we are living in but one festival is still looking to come back this year. The two festivals that were cancelled today were the East Lansing Summer Solstice Jazz Festival and Michigan Pride 2020.

The East Lansing Summer Solstice Jazz Festival announced it today that they were cancelling but they are still looking to come back. They have said that they are looking to do a virtual festival later in September. The festival was originally scheduled to take place on June 19 and 20 in downtown East Lansing and more about it here from WILX.

You can see more about Michigan Pride 2020's cancellation below, but it was originally scheduled to take place on June 13th. Michigan Pride organizers are encouraging people to show their pride in other ways such as flying a pride flag outside of their homes during the week of June 13th or on the day itself.
