Detroit's Thanksgiving Day parade is just around the corner.  On Wednesday The Parade Company hosted its annual Parade Preview Party, where they unveiled a new float.

The private event showed off the Motown Museum float, a tribute to the musical history of the town.  The float was commissioned by Art Van Furniture to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the company as well as Motown Records.

The float is 60 feet long and includes an exact replica of the "Hitsville U.S.A" building that the Motown Museum is housed it.  There is also a massive piano that could fit almost 15 baby grand pianos inside of it.

This year's parade theme is "Walking on Sunshine."  November 27th at 9 a.m. the parade will begin on Woodward Avenue and Kirby finishing at Woodward and Congress in downtown Detroit.
