The MSU Dairy Store Is Set To Re-Open After Being Closed Nearly A Year
Both Alumni and those who live in the East Lansing area now about the best ice cream shack on campus. If you've been dying to get back in there, don't worry, they're finally re-opening.
Like many businesses last year, the Dairy Store was a victim of the COVID-19 Pandemic, and had to close their doors in the Fall of 2020.
“There’s no question it has been a difficult year-plus for too many people. Seeing how happy being back at the Dairy Store made our customers the past couple of weekends was heartwarming,” The Interim manger for the store Connor McDougall, said to WILX.
The MSU store announced on their Facebook page that they will re-open again with 12 different flavors of hand-scooped ice cream.
Ice cream will be available in a cup or cone for $4 or, you can also do a double scoop for $5.
For now, the store will be open Saturday & Sundays between 2 to 8 p.m., but as the semester goes on this year, we could see days and hours added on. However, for now, you'll just need to get your sweet tooth satisfied on the weekend.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to sit down and enjoy your sweet treat either just yet, as the store will have no areas for sitting inside the store, and like all of MSU facilities currently, you will need to have your mask handy as well.
